Deane

Deane hails from Palmerston North, New Zealand. He started Waihi Tattoo in 1991 with his wife Heidi who manages the shop. He comes from a large tattooing/arty family and you can also find Holland’s tattooing in Auckland and Palmerston North.

His favoured styles to tattoo include realism and biomechanical, and he is known for his portraits and cover ups as well as vivid colour work. As the lone tattooist at the studio for many of the early years he is proficient in all styles.

When he is not tattooing his passions are music, guitars and creating both. He is also a doting grandfather.
